before the sun left us.

Leaves like fireworks against an azure sky. Popping and blooming for a short season in a season. The final finale before the featureless slate of winter settled over the land. Wind rushes in, rattling leaves sound like a river or desert rain. Laid out, warming in the light of an autumn sun. The sun, before it left us; before it sunk behind a wall of grey. Leaves of trees bloomed and skin shown bare, wind and blue, and color at all. Pictures from a time before when the sun left us.

  1. Love the tree in infra red, especially

  2. Love the words and the pictures …….and the framing of them…..what is that?

  3. The sun is coming back, isn’t it? I like how you phrase winter!

  4. These are some very very gorgeous shots. Keep up the good work!

  5. Wonderful!
